These terms cover the use of this website and the client portal. They do not cover the work itself. Anything I build for you is governed by the proposal and agreement we sign for that project, and where the two differ, that agreement wins.
You are welcome to read, share and link to anything here. Please do not scrape it, republish it as your own, or use it to train anything without asking.
A free account lets you request a consultation. Client and maintenance accounts unlock project tracking and work requests. Keep your password to yourself, use a real email address, and tell me if you think someone else has got into your account.
I can suspend an account that is being used to abuse the site or anyone connected to it. In practice this has never come up.
Project information in the portal is provided in good faith and kept as current as I can. Dates and progress are estimates, not commitments, unless the same thing is written into your project agreement.
Requests submitted through the portal are covered by your maintenance plan. Anything that turns out to be a new project rather than a change gets quoted separately, and I will tell you before doing the work rather than after.
Text, images and logos you send me stay yours. By sending them you confirm you have the right to use them, which matters most with photography and fonts.
Content here is general information about web design, not professional advice for your specific situation. Case studies describe work done for particular businesses and are not a promise of the same outcome for yours.
This site links to client websites and third-party tools. What happens on those sites is not something I control.
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them.
